Hi all!
Got home today after a looooong four day stay in the hospital. (Recovery from an unplanned c-section is no fun). I went into Labor on Saturday (very mild contractions) which worsened Sunday night... went to the hospital on Monday morning...things were progressing very well and then stopped. After being there for 10 hours without dilating more than I had begun, they discovered I had an abrupted placenta (where the placenta was starting to tear away from the uterine wall) and decided (after many painful procedures, including two failed epidurals!) that I'd have to get a c-section to get this little guy out. He was born on 5/12 at 12:58 am weighing a healthy 8lbs 1oz and was 20and a half inches long. He's perfectly healthy and super cute... looking very much like his daddy. 
More updates to come and more pictures to post, but I thought this one would be most appropriate for the Jane Eyre board.... and they say NYC is a big city. Look at who we ran into as we were leaving the hospital this am (her sister-in-law had just had a baby)....
