i wouldn't know what to do if there was a blizzard!

With the exception of one misguided family trip when I was 7, I have never actually been in...you know, snow! I'm so nervous about this! especially since at least one of my activities has me up on 55th between 6th and 7th. Which isn't exactly next door to my usual hotel area. The PodHotel looks interesting, but I'm finding pretty good deals on Hotwire. I'm not remotely worried about finding a hotel. Losing a toe or three in the snow, on the other hand....
