Well, on Friday, we had about six inches, but it never got above freezing on Saturday, so it was a mess and made for very bad driving conditions (the plows never cleared it all out on the side streets). This meant that I did not go to New York City on Saturday to see the big tree and belatedly celebrate my birthday. Bummer!
Today, it snowed, rained and sleeted, sometimes all at once! At least it felt that way. I did go out in the morning to do a little shopping, but since then I have been home looking expectantly out the window waiting for it to clear up.
The good news is that it will be above freezing for a lot of the upcoming week, so the ice on the roads should melt.
And it wasn't even really Winter until today!
