The doors have not yet opened and a couple dozen people are on the sidewalk. We took a few pictures but none as nice as Kathey and Jenny's!
Oh- but don't let me forget - before we did that, I glanced at the stage door area and saw Aaron Lazar visiting with someone. Then - there was Greg Edelman signing an autograph for a school teacher who ordered 2 copies of the book and got 41!
I passed a thank you card back to the cast with Greg and joined my guys.
I've not been in the Hershfeld before and found it lovely. The seats were the most comfortable I've been in, too. We were Right Orchestra and just could see the speakers and singers who appeared far stage Left as voice-overs or narrators. The crowd settled in and I'd say the lower level was almost entirely full except for a few fringe seats that were majorly blocked by the prosceneum and balcony. It sounded like a full house!
While we were waiting there were lots of trumpet warm-ups and were apparently useful as the opening was played flawlessly.
OK part 3 the show!
