On this day in 2001 Jane Eyre received 5 Tony Award nominations. I remember the thrill of knowing I was playing keyboards in a Tony nominated show for the first time! Of course, we all remember what happened--thank you not very much, Mel Brooks--but this day was very exciting for us in the show!
