The Timothy Dalton version.
Why?
1. I wanted as full a version as possible, so that eliminated the films, both theatrical and for television.
2. This is a good, middle-of-the road version and ten years or so more recent than the Jayston, although that one is my all-time favorite. I thought my niece would be more familiar with Dalton than Jayston.
Now if she's wild about Timothy, I may introduce her to Michael! And the musical as well.
