Sorry - got home too late last night to post...
The show was GREAT! First of all, Dawn and I were thrilllllllllllled with our seats... ROW TWO. I LOVE being that close. It really changes the whole experience to be that close.
Before the show, I tried to go up and find Robin, but they didn't get there til right before the show. I was hoping we'd get to meet at intermission.
I had such a great time watching Jayne on her "opening night." You would never guess it was her first time going on. That gal can break your heart with her expressions. Her voice was in great form and she didn't miss a beat. she was really fun to watch with the kids...she's really good with kids and always has a good connection with them onstage. I hope she gets to take over the role when (if?) Rebecca Luker leaves.
At intermission, I didn't want to leave my seat in case robin came down...and I was SO THRILLED to see her approaching. It was like we've known each other for years...not just meeting for the first time. She and her beautiful daughters and sister-in-law came back down at the end of the show so we could take a pic. I'll post it when Robin gets back and gives the ok!
It was a great, great night!!!
