....and though every muscle in my body hurts (what a workout!!!), I didn't hurt myself! Woohooo! Nor did anyone in the group I went with. WOOHOO!!!!
Sorry I didn't mention the locale... we went to Camelback Mountain in the Poconos. It was my first time to the Poconos (in Pennsylvania... lol... I thought they were islands in the caribbean til I was like 21) and my first time Snowboarding. Except for the time when my husband took me on a double green (despite it being my fourth time down any kind of hill on a snowboard), I had a great time. Have you ever cried out of fear? Lol.. that was me, atop the HUGE double green we went down.
The slopes were very icy... would love to go skiing/boarding out west somewhere... but we still had fun. My biggest problem was getting up off my butt after I fell... MIke had to help me up every time. So that's something I'll be working on before next time!
