Liked "Northanger" better than "Mansfield," though. I agree that the lead in N.A. was a little young but after a time she grew on me. And the rest of the cast was good.
I didn't care for Billie Piper as Fanny Price (I did like her in the Shakespeare retold series when she played Hero in "Much ado"). Otherwise I think that was a pretty good adaptation, much better than the 1999 movie which took a lot of liberties with the story.
As in any adaptation, one hopes that viewers are lead to *read* the books!
