The North Bros. "Yankee" No.35 began production in 1908. According to Joe Ward, in his book "North Brothers Manufacturing Company Product Guide", The No.35 is intended for electrical workers, cabinet makers, carpenters and mechanics having a large number of small screws to drive. It came with three straight bits. In 1917 North Bros. added the No. 135 which was the same except a return spring in the handle was added. Both models were continued by Stanley after they purchased North Brothers.
