I will definitely start using a tripod for close-ups and I'm putting together a mini studio for indoor shots according to some plans I found online. Right now my questions revolve around what kind of lighting I should use. We don't have the consistent daylight here in Philadelphia that you have in Arizona. By the way, I was and still am a big fan of Arizona Highways and its wonderful photography. I thought about using cheap spotlights, the clip-on kind with the aluminum shades and a couple of 100 watt daylight CFL's, to keep the heat down. Is this a reasonable solution?
