I have a theory about the relative scarcity of the "Industrial" screwdrivers. With the exception of the few that came home in lunchboxes, I believe that war production and maybe the war materials boards mandated electric and pneumatic screw guns to increase production. In other words, manual screwdrivers were too slow. What happened to the "Industrial" screwdrivers? They went into the scrap drive.
