Good Luck on your plan. It kind of depends on how picky you and they are. My eldest just turned 25. I got lucky - I actually like the young man. (Unlike several of the other young men she has brought home.) If your wife can claim a "Guest" room, in fairness you should be able to claim a "hobby display room". But be very careful, she may exile all of the cases and models to that one room.
