I have an early Superior Models KATORI from about 1965 and others from the 1970s and it was offered again in the past 5 years or so by Superior. I have seen the Comet model in their supplemental IJN set and it was definitely the prototype for the Superior model. Delphin made a 1:1250 model of it that looks pretty good, considering that Delphin qualilty was a bit erratic back in the 1960s-70s. --Previous Message-- : Can anyone tell me if Comet or Superior ever : made a IJN Katori CL? : I have a ID model of the Katori but there is : no markings whatsoever on the model. : Thanks for your help. :
