Earlier today I removed the paint and discovered that the previous owner had filled in the name on the starboard side. Now a new problem has arisen. My Katori is not the same as the one that Rich pictured. It has torpedo tubes in place of the AA guns amidship, no boats, and has not depth charge tracks. The main guns and AA guns are "nicer" in their appearance.
