There are 'anchors' if you look closely - very small high up near the deck.
The bow itself is one of the best parts of the model - the flare is exactly right for Repulse.
The 'fact sheet' that comes with this model makes for interesting reading - I quote:
"and it is almost certain that, due to her age, had HMS Repulse survived the fatal Japanese air attack she would have struggled against the new breed of hybrid 'battleship-carriers' that were subsequently developed."
Hhmmm! good job she didn't come up against Ise then!!
