Atlas Editions are a Swiss company, trading through an English base, selling these Chinese-made models through a magazine 'flier' direct mail offer.
Hulls tend to be die cast (mazac /zamac) with plastic for everything else. The recent models have all had 100% metal hulls. Some of the early one (Prince of Wales in particular) had part metal/ part plastic which spolied their appearance. Assembly quality can be an issue - but not with Repluse.
The cost including postage etc is just under £18.00 per ship - probably a decent price for what you get. Personally I would prefer waterline not full hull as I like to display in a harbour setting. The full hulls vary in detail - Repulse is quite good and features the bulge nicely.
The photos posted today show an ad hoc way of displaying the model in waterline configuration for photographic purposes - a polystyrene tile, with a rough cut-out and a quick paint job. Not good enough for permanent display - but quite effective nevertheless.
