I believe about the time the Greek ships were produced a problem with a batch of metal occured over the Antimony content.
I had some models like yours which bent but since straightening they have remained stable. Out of about 40 Greek Ships i have i had to have a number of them replaced due to metal corrosion.
With well over 1,600 Argonaut models in my collection it was not a problem i have seen before or since.

: Gentlemen, as I have read some gloomy messages
: here recently, I am here to let all of you
: laugh. In a quiet sunday afternoon I was
: deeply shocked to find three Argonaut models
: (Hydra, Vasilefs Georgios and Paralos)curved
: like bananas, resting on the middle section,
: stem and stern up! I forced them more or
: less in their original state, but the
: waterline is no longer straight as it should
: be. Did anyone face the same problem? Does
: anyone have information about the metal used
: or some melting error with these particular
: models? (They were safe from funny people,
: inside wooden drawers, alongside with
: hundreds of others which behaved in an
: absolutely decent way!)
