G3 class that is

Hi Norm,

I have a little involvement with this project. Probably it's not a big secret anymore that our very own John Youngerman made the master build for this model (after my continuous nagging :D).

St. Andrew class or Invincible class were the two rumored names for this class of battlecruisers which were revolutionary designs. The original plan name was G3. A lot of designs were run for new BC and BB concepts, battlecruiser names were run from F-K and BBs from L-O. The number indicated the number of guns per turret. G3 was the design chosen for the BC and worked out in detail. Due to the Washington Treaty construction did not proceed.
