Kieth:
Your set is the most common of the Bessarabis sets. It was the last set produced starting in 1942. As you know condition of the models is most important in pricing the set. Since 2005 I have tracked Ebay and auction prices on WWII identification models. The average price per model in complete sets starts at $14.85 and goes to $57.91. Throw out these (the low and high) and the range goes from $22 to $42. A recent Ebay sale of 52 Bessarabis models, of varying condition, in incomplete sets, went for $610. Is there a number written in red or green pencil on the inside of the lid???
