So HMS Duke of Edinburgh has a sister ship--HMS Black Prince--at last. Very nicely done by Navis. Looking at the YSM (my) model of D of E, produced by Mountford a couple of years ago, there are some interesting differences in details. I admit that I was unable to obtain "original" plans for D of E, but used several plans, which were quite consistent. I will let those of you who have (do) purchase both of them make your own comparisons. Perhaps the dates for the two models are different times during the war and the B P had been refitted, OR, they were actually different in detail and fittings. I will say that Navis did their usual very nice neat job on this model. Bravo!
