Triang used the pierhead building as a power station by replacing the dome with a tall chimney, so it is not a specific pier! The pierhead is somewhat like Eastbourne and I think that the entrance might have come from Llandudno but the pilings are pure Triang, as they are far too heavy. The lifeboat station is designed to be compatible with this pier and there are at least two like that, Mumbles and (I think) Cromer.

: I have only payed attention to vessels.
: No attention paid to harbours, piers,
: lighthouses, buildings, etc.

: So forgive me...
: Does this model represent a specific
: [English?] seaside resort pier?
: Or is it a generalized item?
