Helmut Just is in very good shape. We have visited him some weeks ago and he was still very much into his ships. It was him who gave the USS Henderson to my third son, that then was converted to USS Bountiful. Helmut and his wife Ilona live 20 miles down the lake from us so we will continue to be in contact with them.
His collection is all but gone, but since he was a second hand seller there are still about 3000 ships of various makers he would sell.
