I see where you were headed. That has certainly happened in years past.
Conference play is truly a different season. People know you so much better. I don't think we have played the same type of team defense and shot as well the last few weeks. Jake is not going to be the player this year that he was last, although he certainly looked more mobile to me on Saturday.
This is the week with three games, ending with Wichita. That is brutal, although maybe our depth will make a difference. Wonder if Gant and Kitchell will play. My gut feeling is the guys who play all out on defense will get the minutes. Greg won't put up with people not defending and helping.
I saw the coaches show tonight. Losses or not, he is a smart coach and a great guy. We are so lucky to have him here. Brian Fritz pointed out that he has the highest winning percentage at ISU since Bob King.
