It always interesting to me how quickly the motivation/inspiration of the team is attacked by its fans. I can only recall one real instance where I felt ISU's players just rolled over: UNI in TH in Royce's last year. Went thru the motions and were blasted. While I have no explanation for the Drake game, the team faced a skilled, determined and desperate opponent in this UNI team. It has a good record against better competition (SOS = #9) and Jacobsen is a quality coach. I just don't see how one can equate getting beaten by a quality opponent at its gym when it is very focused to get a win qualifies as losing its soul.
