Wow. ISU vs. UCLA.
It's still Pauley Pavillion, right? Just remodeled.
It would be great to go to this game...just to walk the grounds and building of where all of those great UCLA teams, players and coaches created so much college basketball history.
I've always wondered, how did the UC (University of California) ever let an extension campus UCLA (University of California at Log Angeles) supersede the main campus for NCAA college basketball success.
How does the UCLA leadership pull that off? Did they get approval? Was the main campus asleep at the wheel? I just don't see IUPUI or IPFW ever creating that kind of success...that is to be better than IU or Purdue....and to take the NCAA MONEY and glory from the main campus's and the Big Ten?
Is it this simple, or am I understating or overstating an extension campus catapult to the very top levels of college basketball?
