Purdue Deal Could Mean Millions
Developers of a planned $200 million wind energy park involving Purdue University believe it can serve as a "true scientific destination" for researchers throughout the world. The university is partnering with General Electric Co. (NYSE: GE) and Performance Services on the 100 megawatt project. Purdue Research Foundation Senior Vice President Joe Hornett says the impact on sponsored research at the university could be $30 million per year. Hornett and Performance Services Vice President Scott Zigmond discussed the project on Inside INdiana Business Television.
