The day went smooth as silk and all the kudos go to Dave, Jay, Jeff as well as the Alumni Office who handled most of the ticket distribution. Bottom line, we handed out a record number of tickets and that was my goal. I've seen larger crowds at the pre-game but the ones that were there had a great time and there weren't many open tables so it was a good crowd, just missing a few I had seen in the past. As far as the Forumites there, pretty much the usual suspects. Since a lot of my buddies on the board here are without faces, I can't tell you who actually might have been there.
Weave, I did spend some time with Frank who sat right behind me at the game. Of course, he hasn't changed much and ironically I had talked quite a bit with Frank III the previous game I was in TH.
Much of yesterday was about spending time with guys from my house who were also in town for an alumni meeting, so not unexpectedly as is always the case when we get together, it was a very long day but tons of fun. Can't wait to see more at Homecoming 2010.
Without the Bally, there is not Out-of-Towners so to Dave and Jay, many, many thanks. To Mike and Brandon, at the bar where I was at.. (and all the other Bally folk), another awesome job keeping our thirst and appetites at a minimum. Someday I would love to see a line at the door before and after the game but until then, our little event keeps getting bigger and better. If there was one flaw, it was likely the timing as Valentine's day weekend probably kept pussy-whipped husbands and boyfriends away but hey, becuase of that that pesky schedule-maker, we really had only ONE day we could have it.
Thanks again, for all who participated and hopefully OOT-6 will be in the works for next year.
