In spite of 20 turnovers and lack-luster paint play, I found it encouraging that we still 'handled' a veteran, strong, and athletic team. Stan Guard had assembled a bit of a Valley-esque squad, and they appeared to deserve a top ten ranking. None-the-less, as it SHOULD BE, but has not been for waaaaay tooooo loooong, the D-1 team, our Sycamores, had recruited better talent on a deeper bench than the D-2 team, and it showed by a double digit lead throughout the contest. Sure as heck beats losing to D-3 teams or playing them to a nail biter victory. I'll take this game, instead, any day of the week, and was very encouraged by it. WATCH OUT FOR THOSE TREES !!!
