If you were old enough and had experienced the RON GREENE ERA, this conversation would be moot...
Coach Mac is HUMAN, and he's the coach of ISU Basketball. He's the navigator & ultimate decisionmaker. It's HIS ship, and he's responsible for its sinking or sailing.
Any idea what historical connotations are aligned with the term "mutiny?" Why is it perceived so negatively? Try this ref. for starters:
