I read something about it...just hope that he picks up the pieces and restructures. It's a small fissure in the road of life. He's got a good family to regroup around.
Did you go to OC Elem? A placque in the entrance hallway has my dad's name on it...he was on the Advisory Board that commissioned the construction of BOTH the Elem & Jr. HS (which was originally slated to be the NEW Otter Creek HS before Charlotte Caldwell & the Vigo School Board began their massive consolidation program in '61.

The gymnasium was modeled after the ISU Arena and originally had the SAME movable Medart Goals that the Arena had! Garfield used to practice @ the OC JHS gym during the IHSAA Tournament because of its similarity to the Arena! Needless to say, NTH people were not happy about the CONSOLIDATION after working so hard to get a new HS. Garfield profited, because they had access to some of the BEST athletic talent in the county!
