Brady Shoemaker's opening game

Bristol White Sox & Brady Shoemaker are hosting Greeneville Astros. Astros pitcher Luiz Cruz, 18 yrs old from Puerto Rico, had a no hitter through 6 innings but was lifted to start the 7th. He pitched last year in the minors as well yielding a 0.228 BA.

Shoemaker struck out twice against Cruz but doubled in the top of the 7th for Bristol's first hit of the game.

Another double drives home Shoemaker but inning ends with Bristol trailing 5-1.
