You're right...the "Thornton's" have a good sports bloodline around TH. Is Tommy his dad? He was an outstanding hoop player @ WV during the late 80's.

Bill (his grand uncle?) was my PE teacher @ Otter Creek in the 60's.
Late in the game, it was conveyed that the Andrean P had given up 22 hits ALL SEASON, yet WV had 9 at the time, thus highlighting the WV hitting!
