He had no chance to catch the inside-the-park HR, but he could have caught the other fly ball to him though. Good question about the CF. A professional plays the ball off the wall and holds them to a double or triple but these are just kids. Thornton is a kid we need to keep an eye on. He is a very, very good hitter for a freshman. He had a hit and hit the ball hard another time off a senior pitcher, throwing 90, who is going to Notre Dame.
