Dear Tom Davis,
I'm terribly sorry that I've never heard of you, but getting my sports news from any TV source is a little more telling than getting it from a low level regional sports writer. I don't care how good you think you are at your job, but HBO's late night sports shows will always have you beat because they're on TV and you aren't.

I would never send that to him, but that's the equivalent of what he's saying about our university's athletic programs. I wonder if he realizes that? Not many things get my feathers ruffled anymore, but degrading my alma mater is definitely one of them.
