Are any of you out there hearing of any conference realignments?
Don’t all the BFFC conferences have a desire, to have twelve teams, that is...two full football Divisions…...that allows them to get an extra exempt conference championship game (ala the ACC, SEC and the Big-12).
The word at one time was, The Big East would most likely raid Conference USA East Division which would force Conference USA West Division members to choose between the MWC and WAC (making those leagues 12 team leagues as well).
This shift would make the Big East basketball schools (Marquette, DePaul, Providence, St. Johns, Georgetown, Seton Hall, Notre Dame and Villanova) looking for a league.
Now that we have Valley Football, and the MVC is becoming more of an all-Sport league, what are the chances of the private schools (Bradley, Creighton, Drake and Evansville) to go looking for like minded institutions?
Is there any truth that St. Louis and Rick Majerus want out of the A-10 and into a Midwest league?
If so, what happens to ole Butler, do they stay in the Horizon?
