Center Grove fans will remember when Darcy was chosen to appear on the "Faces in the Crowd" page in Sports Illustrated. I was excited to learn that she signed to attend ISU and, at the time, believed she was the most celebrated softball recruit in school history. Correct me if I was wrong in my assessment; I am not a fountain of knowledge on ISU softball).

Since she has been here I have attended more than a dozen softball games, more than I attended in the late 1990s when one of my daughter's roommates was on the softball team.
