It's a geographic "natural," w/ 6 Michigan based franchises and Ft. Wayne, while supported by a powerful and well-funded IHL.

To think, they vetoed Don Mattingly's proposed downtown baseball complex a couple yrs. ago...now this? They actually paid a "consultant?" Taxpayers should have a few heads over this waste of $$$.
