Eh, I'm not worked up that its a Hooters banner per se, I have nothing against the place. It's the fact that they are not advertising their food, they are advertising employment. The banner I saw last night said something along the lines of "Think you have what it takes? Apply now!" The Statesman is a newspaper for a higher education institution and my problem is that either:
a. Times are so bad that college grads are working as Hooters waitresses
or
b. ISU's rep is so bad that Hooters considers it a good investment to pay for ads that recruit at our campus.
Like I said, I'm really not that worked up about it, just made me think a little when I saw it about what's really going on at my alma mater.
