My boyfriend has been diagnosed recently with a level of 1000 which his doctor has said should be 300. However to date he has had one phlebotomy two weeks ago and his next one is not until mid-december. Shouldn't he be having one once a week until his iron levels are back to normal? His doctor does not seem to be concerned at all about this. I'm not even sure what 'level' he is talking about.. Ferritin? Any info would be appreciated. Nikki
