47 yrs old, male, german, ukraine, irish herritage. Staring theraputic treatment next week. ferritin at 1618.7. IBinding capacity at 68. iron level 164. saturaton at 70.7. liver enyymes (high)AST 63 ALT 104 (high). Just told type 2 diabetes. Thought I was pretty healthy. Liver biopsy scheduled. Social drinker but stopped in early Sept. Am I dying? What is short term and long term prognosis. Living in the US. Thanks for advice. Be direct.
