Over the last few months, even before I was diagnosed with hemochromatosis, I had bad reactions to blood pressure and anti depressent medications. When I was taking 4mg Coversyll I felt worse than terrible, I was housebound and on the point of collapse. Immediately after stopping the medication I felt a thousand percent better. Which leads me to the hypothesis as to whether hemochromatosis sufferers may have a lower tolerance to medications, because of a sensitive liver struggling to deal with high iron levels, let alone other artificial chemicals.
I am drug free at the moment and feel bloody great.
