Well, I have the strangest news, and am wondering if this has happened to anyone else. I have been completely de-ironed for about 3 months now. I had irritable bowel really really bad, for years now. It seems to be completely gone. It didn't go away slowly as I slowly de-ironed, but went away very suddenly as soon as my ferritin got down to 22. I can now eat all the foods that used to be a trigger. I'm wondering though, at the same time I came down with severe constipation. I found myself living on Ex-lax. Now, the last couple of weeks, I'm fine, finally. Wondering if maybe all the years of IBS, and maybe my stomache just forgot how to work under normal conditions?
