
Posted by Darren K I am uninformed about a Hemangioma, but it is probably unlikely that iron will accumulate in such a localized manner in the liver. Hemosiderin deposits in the liver are typically fairly well distributed. Hemosiderin is basically iron in combination with protein. Again, I don't have any specific information, but I believe that iron content in the liver would be more distributed. Note: I am not a trained medical professional, just a HH patient.
