I was just reading Peggy's complaint written in July...I've been through all of that with those same symptoms for years. I was only diagnosed about 3 years after I had to leave my full time job without compensation because I wasn't having any diagnosis of a real condition and I wasn't treated or taken seriously for what I had. Finally, the genetic testing showed that I was homozygous for C282Y.
Lately, I wrote our Health and Welfare Minister with a copy to our MFA and I even had a answer from our Health and Welfare Minister that I should be assured that his staff was looking into my request to inform the public and the health professionals about this condition.
I think that we should bother them (the politicians and doctors) to the point that ignorance wouldn't be their excuse anymore.
