I have explained twice now the factor of the hemochromatosis and the doctor still thinks that because I have a normal iron reading that it is not necessary but since I have siblings that have the heriditary hemo.. then he is giving me paper work for the genitic test to be done. What is wrong with these doctors. It is frightening that they are supposed to be in the know and they are seemingly wasting my precious time. As yet the only thing I can probably attribute to the hemo.. is the sore knuckles when I knock on a door or such and it is very painfull. I have pernicious anemia, and take a shot of B12 every 3 weeks. and I have hypothyroid that I take pills every day for. I am the only sibling with these two problems so far. I am the oldest and my younger sisters have the disease and each of them have the memory loss and a host of other things that I have not got at all. But my big beef is the doctors is it possible to send the doctors a wake up call about this? I thought my doctor was really interested enough to find out about this but NOT! I even gave him this address. ANy one else give there doctor a wake up call?? andhow to do it?? Thanks for your help
