I am so glad to be able to access this site again. It seemed to be 'off the air' for a while. Have you ever read a book called "The Bronze Killer"? Your question sent me running back to it for reference, and I was impressed again by the statement that, when you are diagnosed and start on phlebs (not the writer's exact words!)you have put your foot on the first rung of the ladder to better health. There is, also, the reminder that iron stores can reaccumulate, so the maintenance treatment after your initial de-ironing is crucial. Good luck!
