Posted by Darren K From my own experience, I got the bulk of the iron out within 12 months. I was another couple of months getting the ferritin to get down to 25. At the final stage of deironing, I watched the % saturtion closely. When the saturation went high, I did a phleb. My ferritin ended up at about 10 before the saturation stopped bouncing back to a high value. So, I'd think that you'll be down into the low numbers by 10 to 12 months and then another couple of months to get the last dregs of iron that slowly leach out of the deep spaces of organs. I started at about 3200 ferritin. Take care, Darren K
