Recently diagnosed and curious how long the phlebs will be

Hi all, I am 28 and I have just been diagnosed with HH. My doc caught it during my physical. Kind of makes me wish I would have got one sooner than 5 years... Right now my serum ferritum level is 3300 and my tf saturation is 91%, my doc has started me on the weekly phlebotomies. The first one went not so well, I really hate needles :-), a minute or so in I passed out cold, but the second one I made it, drank lots of fluids just before the treatment, worked great! Just curious how long the initial treatments may go. Right now my doctor has booked the phleb's every week for a year. Rob
