    : I was a very grateful mom, as my DD came to do
    : some much needed yardwork for me. She worked
    : really hard, hacking away at my overgrown
    : bushes and bagging all the pieces. I took
    : her shopping afterward, and we had a great
    : time browsing Target and Bed/Bath and ending
    : the day with Starbucks - they gave me a FREE
    : latte for my birthday.

    : As for dolls... I treated myself to the
    : Tweed Silkie! Haven't had the chance to play
    : with her yet, but there should be some time
    : to play later this week.

    : But ... my best ever birthday gift came from
    : hubby ... a 2 terabyte hard drive for
    : storage (to relieve the burden on my
    : overtaxed laptop.) This will make my
    : graphics and photo work much easier to
    : manage and may actually allow me to finish
    : our club newsletter without the frequent
    : crashes. I am utterly thrilled that hubster
    : understood my wishes!
